This obsession is with hard work is said to be inspired by former team advisor Joey Diaz, who shared some similar insights in relation to MMA in a recent interview with Joe Rogan.

"You heard Joey" Mr. Coffey said calmly, "Good luck beating our guys, you hit them, they are going to come back twice as strong and twice as angry, with steam coming out of their fuckin' ears. We're not worried about anyone."

It's been a tough few years for New York football. Mr. Coffey is excited for the new season, "This is the concrete jungle baby, and we're the king here. Not the Giants, Not the Jets - it's a Big Buck town here."
